Good Shepherd Sunday, the fourth Sunday of Easter is traditionally the Sunday that the Church prays for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. This year an unprecedented amount of resources have been produced as this year is also the Year of Consecrated Life. Prayer for vocations:
God, you sent your Son, Jesus, to bring eternal life to those who believe. I join him in praying for laborer’s for your harvest. May your Holy Spirit inspire men and women to continue his mission through your priesthood, diaconate, religious life and lay ministry. May this same Spirit make known your will for my life. Amen
